Upper School Admissions Process
Applying to Redwood Day School
To apply to Redwood Day Upper School for the 2009-2010 school year, please complete the following steps. These steps are fully outlined in the Admission Procedures guide. You may download and print all of the application materials directly from the links provided or contact Katrina Lappin to request that a packet be mailed to you.
Complete the Parent Application Form (including your answers to the five questions on the final page), Student Application Form, and submit them with the $80.00 application fee to the Redwood Day School Admissions Office. This starts the application process. Please call the admission office if you would like to request an application fee reduction.

Sign the Transcript Release Form and give it to your child's current school. Please remember that this form is shared with many independent high schools. Be sure to indicate all the schools to which you would like your student's records sent.
- Three recommendation forms: English Teacher Recommendation, Math Teacher Recommendation, and Principal/Counselor Recommendation
- Submit the Student Interview form or call/email the Admissions Office to schedule an interview.

Sign up for and take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT). You may register for the ISEE online at the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) website or by calling the ERB at 1-800-446-0320. You may register for the SSAT online at the SSAT Student Page.
The financial aid application process is separate from the enrollment application process and is extremely important to the socioeconomic diversity of Redwood Day School. Please visit Redwood Day School's Financial Aid page to learn about or apply for financial assistance at RDS.
